This photo shows one of the main differences between the two cats. Maynard always seems to squint and Boots has slightly heavier fur than Maynard. Boots looks like he is fatter than Maynard but both now weigh the same. Even when Boots weighed less he appeared to be bigger than Maynard.

Maynard has fully recovered from whatever made him sick and catching up with Boots. 

Monday October 11th Maynard threw up and became listless. He seemed okay the next day but still with a reduced appetite. Boots is now 4 ounces heavier than Maynard. Today's weigh-in: Boots 2 lb. 9 oz and Maynard actually lost 2 ounces to weigh 2 lb. 5 oz. today.
